Prepare for take-off! On the heels of a successful beta, Microsoft Studios announced “Microsoft Flight” will be available to download worldwide for free starting 29^th February, 2012.

In addition, the Hawaiian Adventure Pack, which includes the remaining Hawaiian Islands, a new plane and 20 new missions, will be available to purchase the same day for players looking to expand their horizons.

An entirely new PC game, “Microsoft Flight” lets players jump into the challenge, thrill, and wonder of flight with no special hardware or past experience. The game will be available to download from www.microsoftflight.com, with the option to purchase content packs, aircraft and other content from Games for Windows -LIVE. “There was an overwhelming demand for access to the ‘Microsoft Flight’ beta and the number of requests was more than double what we initially planned for,” said executive producer Joshua Howard. “We received amazing feedback from the beta participants and it’s great to see this level of excitement from fans as we move toward the release of ‘Microsoft Flight.”

In addition to exploring the Big Island of Hawaii for free, fans can unlock access to the skies over the remaining Hawaiian Islands by purchasing the Hawaiian Adventure Pack, the first in a series of expansions For “Microsoft Flight.” The entire island chain offers hundreds of miles to explore and includes stunning recreations of landmark features, from the breathtaking Waimea Canyon in Kaua’i to the high-rise hotels of Waikīkī. Players who sign in to “Microsoft Flight” using their Games for Windows – LIVE account will have the ability to purchase additional content for the game, including two new planes that offer entirely different flying experiences:

· The Maule M-7-260C is a rugged utility aircraft that is especially adept at handling take-offs and landings on rough, unprepared surfaces. Players can find out what makes the Maule the plane of choice for adventurous bush pilots by trying tricky landing challenges that push the aircraft’s ability to land on rough airstrips. Once players master that task, they can enter the Maule’s beautifully recreated cockpit and take the controls to transport people and cargo to complete jobs and advance their pilot career.
· The North American P-51 Mustang is a historical fighter plane with strong performance characteristics, maneuverability and sharp looks. Stripped of guns and some weight, this version represents a restored Mustang that might be found at airshows today. The Mustang’s superb agility makes it a great option to choose to complete hoops courses and master many other skilled challenges and missions found in the game.

All aircraft in “Microsoft Flight” have been created with detailed graphics and accurate physics to immerse players in the flying experience. RAGE gets a Mac release

Bethesda Softworks, in partnership with Aspyr Media, Inc., today announced that RAGE: Campaign Edition is now available for the Mac worldwide. This action-packed new shooter from id Software has been published for the Mac by Aspyr, the leader in Mac games publishing. The game can be digitally downloaded in English, French or German now via Apple’s Mac App Store, Aspyr’s own digital store GameAgent.com, and through other supporting Mac digital retailers.

In RAGE: Campaign Edition you will take on bandit gangs and hordes of mutants with an arsenal of exotic weapons and special items, such as Wingsticks, personal turrets, sentry bots, and remote-controlled bomb cars as you play through the game’s full unaltered single-player campaign. Dragon’s Dogma confirmed for EU, Resident Evil 6 demo included

Capcom have confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma, its highly anticipated open world action title, will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 22 in America and across Europe on May 25.

Capcom is also pleased to announce that purchasers of Dragon’s Dogma will have the opportunity to be the first to experience a playable demo of Resident Evil 6, ahead of its release on November 20.

Retail versions of Dragon’s Dogma will contain a redeemable token that will allow owners to download the Resident Evil 6 demo. Purchasers of the Xbox 360 version of Dragon’s Dogma will be able to redeem this token and download the Resident Evil 6 demo globally on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 60 days earlier than any other platform beginning July 3. I Am Alive details

Today, Ubisoft announced that I Am Alive, a believable post-apocalyptic action-adventure game, is coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system on March 7, 2012.

I Am Alive follows an everyman’s journey to find his wife and daughter, who were lost during the “Event.” A year later, he finds Haventon, his hometown, in shambles. Buildings are destroyed, toxic ash fills the streets and society has been torn, causing inhabitants to take all necessary actions to survive.

In I Am Alive, players will be challenged by both the environment and the enemies. Stamina and resource management are key when being exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies. The unique combat system requires players to utilize intimidation – cowards are easily swayed with an empty gun, while other enemies will put players to the test.
